The First Baby Steps of Sykes, was surrounded with a wide variety of live music,and great passionate musicians...His career involved ,Physics ,Advanced Mathematics,and Electronics... Sykes spent many years in various fields of research... He was a member of the team at Fairchild who developed the camera that was sent to the moon, with the Apollo Space Program in 1969..The DNA was not fully developed ,Sykes sent his finger print to the moon in stead!...Some of his coleagues left Fairchild and started the computer chip company Intel...Sykes passion was still deeply rooted in the enhancement of sound and music...Sykes took many years in developing his own musical instruments including his own customized digital Trumpets, electronic Grand Piano ,Jazz Organ and Synth.,also a very unique Vintage Guitar and Tube Amp.These sounds are heard on this CD...The trumpets on track #7 seems to give a nostalgic recolection of the movie Close Encounters...The Bite of the Jazz Blues Organ on track # 6 could very well reveal a piece of the soul of his idol the late great Jimmy Smith ...He also has developed a Future Concept Home Surround Sound System ,and a Superior Electrifying Sound, Live Stage MP3 player with features to drastically enhance even the best music recordings downloaded from almost any music site... The wide varieties of music found on this CD was done by a system of computers developed single handedly by Sykes ,and thank Lou Gerstner ( c.e.o) of I.B.M for his encouragement.
Sykes also consulted with the world famous Jazz musician Oscar Peterson ,and had meetings,and meaningful discussions with many excellent Sound Engineers, including the one for the TV show LA. Law,and also for the well known group U-2...Sykes had suffecient knowledge to know, when he had downloaded all of this vast amount of information from his visions of the articulate melodies of the great Chopin, To the winding guitar sound of Hendricks ,who he saw for the first time at the Cafe Wa,Greenwich village New York... A mass of electrical wiring!... Without rehearsing like the Candid Snap of a camera, each track was forged and cast on the first take,with(10) astounding origional melodies created from the Art of Science,The Fragile dream of Man and the Sparks from a very heavy metal Machine.(found on the Healing Track#9)... A new baby was born from his Science Machine, that only a mother could love, and very few then did acknowledge its creativity...He recalls quite vividly watching Merle Haggart,and Willy Nelson,on TV,singing Merle's Famous Song ,and watching the TV screen Mysteriously flashing ,giving a clear signal that Mamma Tried, Mamma Tried!...He suddenly recalled the Metaphysical Quantum Propagations ,that occurred shortly after the passing of his own Mother, and so track#1, with its incredibly romantic over tones that rings with the sweet love songs of Venice,that only women can fully appreciate,was born ...What seemed like a failure then ,and for many years, ,sat on a dusty shelf,waiting for the stroke of time,to recon the beginning of the Pheonix rising from the toxic ash , and with time a new understanding,thus the title Frog and Prince!...The final track, is one which gives the feeling of the joyous times of the child like pitter and patter of little feet at play ...Sykes believes that we are all children of one complex and mysterious Universe ... Sykes found it totally awesome to discover that even the first steps of a child is perfectly in tuned, and synchronized to the rhythm of the great Bach !...Sykes has a soon to be released, mesmarizing sound track CD, called Symphony of the Stars ,dedicated to The famous Physicist Galileo the Big Bang The Universe ,where the enormous powers of Art and Science collide!...WOW!...How did you do that?
