Details:
Solomon's music career began just 2 years ago in 2003. While playing Basketball for Boise State Universtiy he went home for spring break and told his father Gary L. Wyatt, Sr. that he sings and composes. His father was amazed when Solomon began to sing a song entitled "Lord I Love You", which he composed, inspired by a song that his father composed. It was mind blowing that all this time while playing basketball over the years that Solomon also had the "hidden" talents of singing and composing.
Unknowingly Solomon was being mentored by Gary, Sr. who would send him demo's of new songs he had composed with the inscription on the cd that read "Sol, Im Gonna beat you to 1 Mil!!!. This was not only inspiring Solomon but also provoking him to become better as a singer and composer.
Upon transferring from Boise State University to Saint Martins College in Olympia it afforded Solomon the opportunity to further compose, lead worship at his fathers church and record demos in his fathers home studio. His desire along with this process enabled him to mature at an accelerated pace in so much that it appeared that he had been in the music business for years.
As he continued to sing and compose he began engineering some of the vocals on his debut project while also composing for, producing and recording a gospel rap group called Sanctified Souljahs along with recording and mixing his father's latest cd "Born to Worship". He's become a very talented engineer with incredible ears for production.
Unclassifiable is the work that embodies Solomon's mentorship, hard work, creativity and maturity. It is a prime example of a son following in the footsteps of his father while also blazing a musical trail for generations to come and creating a style of his own.
Upon graduating with a degree in Community Services Solomon has laid down basketball and has taken on Pastoring, motivational speaking and has vision for a music career. In the days, weeks, months and years to come Solomon Wyatt will become a household name!
