Clive Kirkland was born in Long Road, St. Mary, Jamaica. He was born to the parents of Mr. & Mrs. Obert Kirkland. He is the Seventh (7th)of Eleventh (11th) children. Mr. Kirkland spent his early childhood days in August Town, Jamaica, where he lives with his grandmother. During that time he realised he had a God-given gift for music. His gift was later materalised when he was asked to sing at various concerts. His colleagues and families would encourage him to get into the music industry. Upon taking their advise he started writing songs and playing different instruments e.g. (guitars, keyboard, etc).

Clive Kirkland is a professional singer and songwriter who released a CD entitled "My Brothers" which was done in May 2006. "My Brothers" contains cultural music with songs written by Mr. Kirkland that cover such topics as unity, family and empowerment. Mr. Kirkland also released a CD in 2001, titled "My People Unite". He is also a talented musician who has performed throughout the community at different venues that include churches and festivals. Mr. Kirkland desires to promote the CD "My Brothers." Mr. Kirkland now resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his wife and son.
