theSOLUTION is an electronic pop band based in the mid-Missouri region. The group is composed of brothers Stephen and Adam Embree, who write, record, and perform original work. The duo also performs retro cover songs from the eighties.
theSOLUTION has completed their second self-produced album, "Postmodern Marvels". This album and "Crowded Mentality" are available for purchase at live performances and at cdbaby.com. The DVD of the music video for "Rise to You" is also available for purchase at live performances.
theSOLUTION has opened for pop/r&b artist Toya at a club in mid-Missouri. The band also played on the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater side stage for the Rock and Race Concert, which featured rock band Cheap Trick.
theSOLUTION showcased in the fall of 2003 and 2004 at the Midwest Entertainment Industry Conference in Lexington, KY, and the song "Rise To You" appeared on the 2003 compilation CD created for distribution at the event. The songs "It's Got to Be" and "Everybody" appear on the independent film "Shadows Light", directed by Stephen Zimmer.
