Son'z of glory or better known as the SOG'z has been compared by many as Gospel Rap/Hip-Hop artists. But they will never deny that the original inspiration of the music comes from God as they journey through life. To him alone they will give all honor and praise and you'll never hear them speak otherwise lest they be called any other name than his sons. The music that these men deliver is not color blind, but it is without contradiction or compromise, "this is kingdom music." Some say keeping it real, but really it's about integrity and these men have either lived it or they are going through it while everything else is just divine inspiration.
The S.O.G. Family is comprised of three brothers: David, Darrin and Dwight Alder Jr. Together these men are writers, producers, engineers, educators, and entrepreneurs. They currently hold 3 college degrees between them. In all, these young men are a complete package. David, Darrin, and Dwight who were formerly known as the Young Righteous Poets made a solid step onto the music scene in 1995. After dealing with the highs and lows in both ministry and industry the direction changed while the mission and vision remained. The S.O.G. family unit was formed back in 1995 and then was reborn in 2003 and there's no turning back. Here is what you can expect in the near future from S.O.G Ministries, the record label SNE Music.
As the vision goes forward these men will continue to bring it to you in the God Inspired way it was given to them. We believe that our season is upon us and that S.P.I.T.T. is our representation. It is an acronym given to Beloved years before the ministry started, it means spiritually predestined initially for this time. Born and raised in the heart of Kansas City, "King City" these men have taken on a burden of love in their hearts to bring Kansas City back, not only to a musical forefront, but in business as well.
