Side Project creates a synthesis of Funk, Rock, avant-garde Jazz, Hip-Hop, and other genres to produce the type of uncommon sound that turns heads. Their primary influences are Curtis Mayfield, Tool, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Primus, Herbie Hancock, Phish, Dream Theater, and other innovative artists who have had the guts to sound completely original, all the commercial consequences be damned.
