Sima Fisher Project is a modern symbiotic marriage
between song, poetry and dance. The music is a
movement of sounds and abstract ideas. There is no
plot. Everybody in the audience walks away with a
different interpretation of the music. The music is
tightly arranged but theres also room for

It was the summer of 2000. I was living out of the
back of my Red Jeep that used to always break down and
my best friend was living in her uncle's pool house.
When I'd come to visit, we'd spend our days laying in
the pool and our nights writing songs and recording
them on our small cassette player. Those were the
days when nothing mattered but sunshine and red wine!
I guess it was one of the more free times in my life
where I didn't even care if I had a home as long as I
was having fun, typical Sagittarius" Sima Fisher

Sima Fisher has always enjoyed music and remembered
her first days as a child sitting in kindergarten and
not knowing anything the teacher was talking about but
when the teacher gave her a crayon and turned on music
and told the class "ok now kids, draw how you feel
when you hear this music". It was what came natural to
Sima.
'Sima used to sit in the bathtub singing and making up
new songs and splashing around.'-Chris Levnaich.

During Sima's school days Sima was always above class
when it came to artist and writing but when it came to
chemistry she knew which chemicals caused a huge
reaction. She still knows today and lures people into
her amazing presence. After school, Sima began
dancing at night clubs, working in movies and
television, going to fitness competitions and bikini
competitions and landing small roles in shows shot in
Toronto. She traveled to New York and LA where she
had friends in the industry and did a little modeling
for fashion designers she met through her agency.

Sima is close with her family which consists of four
brothers and four sisters. All of her brothers and
sisters are sports and musically orientated "I
remember when we used to play soccer in our back yard
and my dad would be looking out the window and playing
his accordion, then he'd call me in to tell me it was
time for me to practice" Sima studied accordion and
music since she was seven years old.

Sima is From Toronto Ontario Canada but grew up in
the country outskirts of Toronto.
'I always love coming home to my family they help to
keep me grounded when things get a little rough. I
know that if I ever have a bad week I can call up my
sisters and brothers and just to hear there voices
makes me feel so much better and then I can get on
with my day'

'In a way singing runs in my family...I guess it's an
Irish thing.My grandfather's brother who is Irish used
to sing professionally and my mother would sing around
the house when I was a child. Although she never
thought she was a good singer I always looked up to
her. She was so beautiful to me. My mom is the best
mom in the whole world.I never really ever let her
know that though.' Simas mother was so busy with her
family, a very simple family living in the country and
taking simple pleasures. During Halloween they'd go
up the pumpkin patch and pick out there favorite
pumpkin and at Chritamas and Chunuka celebrate with
hot apple cider. 'My family is a mix of Jewish and
Chiristian so we usually celebrate both occasions.. we
are all a piece of God if we choose to be.'


Sima has many creative outlets including painting,
singing, acting, dancing, poetry, story writing. All
of these outlets help to balance Sima as an artist.
'It helps me to get my emotions out and my feeling and
my passions. Some people say I have too many things
on the go but, I need all of these outlets to be true
to myself. It's not easy for me to express myself when
I talk to someone so I end up laying in bed thinking
of what I should have said to someone..then I have to
turn the light on and write it down in the form of a
song or poem or story'


Sima has done several paintings and poems 'I'll just
stay up all night painting and singing and writing
poems for the paintings. As I do paintings and redo
them different emotions come out onto the paper that
I'm feeling'
