Details:
Still Waters is a group of guys that started playing together about 3 years ago in 2003. They have played in many gigs together, including coffee shops, open mic nights, leading worship for their youth group, and their church.
The band consists of 4 guys. Justin Schaap plays acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Dan Foreman plays bass and backup vocals, TJ Willink plays electric guitar and hand percussion, and Josh Willink plays drums.
The CD is basically an acoustic-driven rock style that has been compared to the style of Lifehouse or John Mayer. All of the songs were written, composed, and sung by Justin Schaap, with the exception of one written and sung by Dan Foreman, and one written by Josh Willink.
The cd was mixed and mastered by Chris Trahey of Cannonball studios and was released in August of 2006. These songs all consist of motivating and inspirational lyrics which speak of what needs to happen in order to make the world a better place, hence the cd title, Move These Obstacles.
