Just an ordinary kid from an ordinary background, who's still ordinary! Many people hide from their feelings because of everyday pressures and perceptions. Whatever the reason pride, insecurity or stubbornness, we sometimes are afraid or ashamed to ask questions about our existence or how God affects our lives.

The songs Steve writes ask these questions in discovery or rejoicing, frustration or confusion. They speak about a real world, not a fanciful idealist world. In time, perfection will come, but until then we need to make sense of our world.

Steve says,
"I have been blessed many times during my song writing. I only pray that you will be equally blessed, challenged and uplifted by them. I donât pretend to know all the answers, but I do often ask the questions that we sometimes choose to ignore. Some of my songs appear from nowhere. Sometimes they are the result of fervent bible study, but all are built upon the rock Christ Jesus. God is a gracious God and continually inspires me to write more songs."
