POP: Today's Top 40, URBAN/R&B: R&B Pop Crossover
Details:
Steven Cooley performs passionate, soulful pop songs that grab his audience with their infectious hooks. This self-taught pianist sings with a unique style combining his influences of R&B, Pop, and Americana to make an eclectic, soulful sound. His debut album is a collection of eleven, piano driven, pop songs that accentuate his unique writing ability. âLost My Faith,â the title track was written during a low point in Stevenâs life. Drugs and alcohol had taken hold of his life and he found himself homeless, on the streets of Indianapolis, Indiana. At the bottom, he found promise in his music and writing. In December 2004, after a move into a halfway house and after some sobriety Steven was able to release his debut, âLost My Faith.â Still sober today, Steven continues to passionately pursue music with a new conviction and Faith.
Outstanding vocals! Steven has a unique sound that blends gospel, blues, and singer/songwriter individuality. I love it! The production is solid with good instrumental performances. The song and performance are effective and memorable. Very fine work!
