Shawn Walker has always had a song in her heart. Today, Walker releases a self-published compact disc entitled, "God's Wonderful World," a compilation of lullabies and sing-along tunes with an emphasis on the tenets of Christianity. From her earliest memories, growing up in the foothills of western North Carolina Walker has been involved in music and performing. Lifelong membership in the same church where her father served as pastor most of her life helped develop a strong religious foundation. A close-knit family nurtured Walker's natural ability for music. "Involvement in church allowed me to explore two loves, my faith and music," explains Walker who has always participated in choir, as a member or leader.

God's Wonderful World is the culmination of Shawn's heartfelt joy and love for both of her children. God's Wonderful World was completed in December 2002 and first released in March of 2003.
