Unique Christian based Pop; strong, well written songs with an underlying spiritual theme. This is not a "Contemporary Christian" record.
8 MP3 Songs
POP: 80's Pop, ROCK: Acoustic
Details:
The Stingers, a now legendary band from the 80's, was primarily a vehicle for the songwriting of Chip Mergott, whom Bonnie Raitt described at the time as "one of my favorite songwriters." This, their second and final album (their first "Roomful of Noise" is no longer available) was embraced by hundreds of progressive radio stations and publications around the country at the time it was released (1989), but never found the distribution to get it into the hands of the people who heard (and loved) it. Until now.
The price of this CD reflects the fact that there are a very limited number of copies of the original pressing available; Notebook Records has no plans for manufacturing any more once they are out of print. This pressing was mastered at the original Bob Ludwig's Masterdisc in New York City and manufactured as a limited edition audiophile pressing.
