Stella Polaris, a four piece rock band residing in Champaign, IL, draw their influence from such bands as Weezer, Foo Fighters, Deathcab for Cutie, Hum, and ...You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Formed in 2004, they have steadily expanded their catalog to a healthy list of original songs. They are four real performers who care about music above all else, and the audience that shares in that music with them. Recently uprooted to the heart of the mid-west from Stillwater, OK, they continue their musical endeavors with consistent rock songs that aim to please. Shying away from the stereotypical rock band stigma, Stella Polaris places no emphasis on a front man, with all members pulling equal duty on various instruments as well as vocals. The band consists of Brady Bledsoe (guitar, bass, vocals), Brandon Frederking (drums, bass), Andrew Linley (guitar, bass, vocals), and Zach Linley (guitar, bass, vocals). This is a band that plays their hearts out, takes no shortcuts, and earns its fans one at a timeâ¦.
