The hardest thing for a songwriter/singer to do is know how to describe their music. It seems like all music has to be labeled or categorized and put in a tidy little pigeonhole. I ask 10 people whom I sound like and I get 10 different answersâthe general consensus is âuniqueâ. Iâve been writing music for many years and when I write a song, I donât think about fitting in or making a hitâI just create what comes to me. Much of it has to do with whatâs going on in this world and in my too often tragic life.
