Mainly British,a bit of American and touch of Japanese music influenced real rock band from Tokyo, "Stone Deaf". Here's their first album released from "Hardon Records" in 2005.

Vocal/Guitar-Yukio Yamamura (Mr):
Yukio started to play a guitar in a band when he was 16 in Kumamoto where he is from, Hakata and Tokyo. Since then "the Clash" was one of his favorite bands.
In 1990, he visited the house of "Topper Headon" (The Clash). That leaded hem to his 12years life in England. He has learnt guitar by "Big Jim Sullivan", he was not only a tour member of "Eddie Cochran", but also has been playing with many musicians such as, Tom Jones, Cliff Richards, Kinks, David Bowie, Donovan, Walker Brothers, Marianne Faithful, Seekers and more. He is also famous for a "Ritchie Blackmore" (Deep Purple) guitar teacher. Meanwhile Yukio played many gigs with a local white Rock Blues band as a guitarist.
In 1997, Yukio formed his own band, "the effuse". The effuse played gigs intensively at London's hot venues such as "Dublin Castle", "The Monarch", "Bull & Gate", "The Dingwalls", "Hackney Empire", "Hope & Anchor", "The Bug Bar" and more. "The effuse" won the 3rd prize in the Hackney The Best Band of The Year 1999 against 36 British bands. The winner of the contest went to the "Glastonbury Festival (UK)".
The Japanese documentary TV program "I'm" (TV Asahi) broadcasted "the effuse" footage regularly between 1999 to 2000. In the summer of year 2000, "the effuse" succeeded a Japan tour (7 cities). In 2002, Just after "the effuse" released their First Album "the effuse", the drummer of "the effuse" suffered from serious nervous break down and the band couldn't continue their activities. Yukio decided to move to Tokyo. As soon as Yuko settled down, he started a new project, "Stone Deaf".
Bass/Vocal-Koujiro Akai (Mr):
Koujiro was born in Yokohama and formed his own band called "Woos", and played many gigs in Yokohama and Tokyo. After moving to Tokyo, "Woos" continuously played even more gigs mainly in Tokyo, such as "Kichijoji Mandalaâ " where they appeared regularly. In 1999, Koujiro joined the "The world is wanting her" tour of the legendary art performer, "Nao Saejima". In 2000, "Woos" appeared on Nagoya TV program (Asahi TV) "J-Beat". Koujiro joined the band called "henssimo" and they released their maxi single "henssimo" in 2001. One of their songs, "Irukanoirubasho Inaibasho" became the ending theme song ofã"Fukakin" (TV Kouchi).
In 2002, Koujiro met Yukio and joined his new project, "Stone Deaf".
Drums/Vocal-Ai Niikura (Ms):
Ai was just a music lover and never dreamt of being a drummer when she was a teenager.
In 1994 Ai was supposed to stay in England just for a year, but ended up staying in London for 8 years and became a rock drummer.
Ai joined a psychedelic 4 piece band, "Instant Flight" in 1998. "Instant Fligh" played in many well known London venues such as "Dublin Castle", "The Monarch", "Bull & Gate", "The Orange", "The Dingwalls", "Water Rats", "Red Eye", "Vibe Bar", "93 Feet East" and more. In 2000, "Instant Flight" released own album "Instant Flight".
At the same time, Ai played drums for "Anthony Anderson" which was a project of the "Death In Vegas" guitarist, "Ian Button". Ai played several gigs and recordings with "Anthony Anderson", including "BBC" children program "The Saturday Show".
In 2002, Ai moved to Tokyo, and one year later she joined "Stone Deaf".
