AWOL, on vacation, stalled? All three, at some point in time,
apply to Steve Lambert, but he's back and making music of the
same quality he was making umpteen years ago as the singer with Roman Holliday.
3 MP3 Songs
POP: British Pop, ROCK: Acoustic
Details:
Steve Lambert was the lead singer with British (P)op Group Roman Holliday who scored hits in the 80's with Don't try to stop it, Motormania and Stand by.
They were regulars on MTV, Top of the pops, toured the world, had fun and promptly split up!
Steve moved from the UK in the early 90's and made New York City his home for that decade.
He recently moved to a "beautiful small town" in North Central PA where he continues to make music. . .
"I suppose I'm still trying to write the same song I was trying to write when I was fifteen; something that makes sense, lasts three minutes and maybe makes a connection. After 30 years, I think Start a rage is a pretty good stab at doing just that. Well, it's a start."
