Hello, and thank you for visiting!

A few words of introduction.........

I have been writing poems and songs for a number of years, performing at folk clubs, theatres, and on both B.B.C and local radio.
The process of writing has been an intrinsic part of my life; a constant companion, confidante, and friend, and has provided the means by which I have tried to come to terms with all the joys and sorrows that we experience on our journeys.

I draw inspiration from my unending sense of wonder at the natural world around me; so much beauty that was made by something greater than man.
Whether it be a falling leaf or a distant star, it poses the same amazing question.

It has also provided the means by which I try to give voice
and form to all the abstract thoughts, feelings, emotions, and questions that we all experience, inspired by the mystery of our journey, and the events of this world in which we live.

In so doing there is a great additional pleasure when my attempt to "say it" for myself has sometimes "said it" for others as well, and in this way we have found common ground, and shared a few steps of this journey together.
