Hi, thanks for showing interest in my first release of a CD. I was brought up in western Germany close to the Dutch border (born 1970).Am living in Brighton/East-sussex/UK for the past few years. My parents (British-mother Swiss origin) moved to there from London in the late sixties. There has always been lots of sound â English American- in the house through radio and tapes by my father. The interest in that era of music I still follow todayâ¦
In the beginning of the nineties, I first started with oil painting and a year later in 1993 I finally started to teach myself setting chords together on a Spanish classical guitar and willing to create own melodies which express myself and oneâs emotional worldsâ¦
In 2005 I started to experiment with the electric guitar again, after years practising only on a classical guitar, which motivated me to go through pieces of paper on which I wrote down chord settings over the yearsâ¦
I like the idea of keeping the sound authentic, to make the listener feel somehow closer. This CD is put together in a spontaneous & playful way and should be seen like pages and notes taken out of a (âan instrumentalâ) diary..
