message to the universe is a re-debut cd by the skychurch experience, a follow up to its obscure initial release back in 2005- cryin' blue rain.this time around the skychurch experience gives you a release of studio and home demo instrumental recordings (four tracks re-released from cryin' blue rain),message to the universe was originally to have been released in september of 2005 with 12 tracks,but due to particular circumstances the track listing was changed and it was delayed -until now. this cd consists of 10 instrumental recordings that blend funk;rock;blues and jazz- their are three acoustic tracks, one is from the four tracks that were pulled and re-released from cryin' blue rain;also taildragger is a revised version;the last track "war child" is a solo guitar track that wails and screams with emotion -"a protest song in sounds" as the lead guitarist says,which embodies a format of structure and sound based on jimi hendrix's "machine gun" with the band of gypsys and jimi's version of "the star spangled banner" at woodstock.if you like your music loose and free form- that is what the skychurch experience is all about,making it groovy.
