This is mountain-based-from the Dick Dale meets Ghost Riders In The Sky opening track and throughout the whole CD. The catch is the band calls New York City home, although you wouldn't know it from the downhome sound of this disc. The harmonies are incredible, with all bandmembers taking lead and/or background vocal turns at one point or another. If the resultant fallout from all of the O'Brother hoo-hah is music this strong, then this whole mountain/bluegrass resurgence has been worth it. Great stuff."
