BIOGRAPHY
In 2004 they started recording their first album and they released it in April of that year. The result was an EP with 7 diverse songs. They called it 0.1, a symbol for their first small step as a band recording and releasing music. The album was recorded and mixed by Sweet Assembler.
The music is a blend of rock, pop, experimental and psychedelica.
On stage the band easily manoeuvres from quiet songs to massive explosions and is not afraid to experiment. They have a reputation for giving energetic and dynamic shows.(Check website for selection of live reviews & live recordings)
The press was very enthusiastic about there first release. It received excellent reviews from Dutch and Belgium magazines. It even ended up in the 2004 underground top20 presented by OOR magazine who called the album a sensation (NL).
Many bands & musicians influence Sweet Assembler. The list would simply be too long to mention. The main philosophy of the band is that there should be no border in what we could or should make.
The future looks exciting. The band finished recording there first full length studio album in Oktober 2005. They worked together with Mark van der Heijden at the Lab van Akoestiek Eindhoven. The album is called âdigitally passed onâ and contains 11 songs. The album was launched on the 19th of may.
