Manuel a.k.a. Manny was born in the Bronx, NY. Although he was born and raised as a Christian, it was not until the age of sixteen when he realized he had to make a commitment to the Lord. It was at this time in Manny's life that he walked through a test of faith facing a life and death situation.

In one of Manny's raps, he rhymes about his testimony. He thought he was a real tough guy and could go around beating up on others. One day he fought with the wrong person. This person went after him the next day with a few friends. They beat him with metal pipes and the mother of one of the guys held a gun. This under other circumstances would have killed a person, but God had a plan for Manny's life.

After over one hundred stitches that it took to close the wounds on Manny's head, he was able to walk out of the hospital that very day without even suffering a concussion. Manny remembers that while he laid in the emergency room hearing the doctors tell his parents how bad the wounds were, he knew if God would give him another chance he would have to make some serious changes with his life.

It was at this turning point of Manny's life that he realized he needed to be real with God. After rededicating his life to the Lord, he began working with the Youth Group at his church as a Youth Leader. Manny has been given the gift of a Worshiper. He is a self-taught musician who plays keyboard and guitar. He also helps lead worship Sunday mornings at his church. Manny makes himself available to work at Youth rallies and Outreaches as he is determine to help turn the lives around of other young people.
