Pat Schiller's current CD "Living A Dream" delivers in every song a message that everyone can relate to.
10 MP3 Songs
EASY LISTENING: Cabaret, JAZZ: Bossa Nova
Details:
âPat Schiller combines the jazzy rhythms of Peter Allen with the lyrical, piano-based melodies of Billy Joel to create in 'Living A Dream' a winning assortment of songs encompassing stylistically everything from Rhythm & Blues, to Rock, to a taste of the Basa Nova."
- Charles Siebert, Frequent contributor to the âNew York Times Magazineâ -
âMost of the 10 tracks on Pat Schiller's Living A Dream are romantic ballads that emphasize his deep, expressive voice and fluid piano playing. On "You Took Your Love (Didn't You)," "And So It Goes," and "(Make Up For) Lost Time" he mixes string arrangements with jazz to create a supper-club ambience. The breezy "You're The One" is the most appealing track.â
- Joseph Simek, âIllinois Entertainerâ-
The art of songwriting is a difficult task to do. It should allow you to wonder about the days of what ifs, could have beens and even to help us deal with today somehow. Pat Schillerâs current CD âLiving A Dreamâ delivers in every song a message that everyone can relate to. âLiving A Dreamâ is a refreshing change back to an art long forgotten.
-Carrie Petko, A/R Dept., âSchiller Entertainmentâ -
ABOUT PAT -
A piano player at four, professional musician at fourteen, successful studio musician and singer, who took time off to become a proud parent, husband. With his new CD release, he has returned to the music scene.
âSometimes in life you get a second chance at fulfilling a thought or idea that was somehow, somewhere lost in the subconscious part of your mind. There are reasons why we seem to gravitate away from the things we love but we donât understand why. On this CD release, I have tried to convey to you about lost loves (âYou Took Your Love, Didnât Youâ), to thinking about past loves of long ago (âAnd So It Goesâ), to worldwide political statements (âPessimisticâ), to starting all over (âMake Up For Lost Timeâ). I had a lot to say in the songs that I have written in various styles of music.â
