Screams of Triumph formed from the ashes of two Lafayette, Louisiana bands, Odd Arnie and Abcent Minded. Blending together punk and ska with jazz, metal, funk, and reggae, "Screams" has created a sound all its own. In just over a year, Screams of Triumph has already toured through the South (inlcuding stops in Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Tennessee) and played shows with such bands as The Flaming Tsunamis, Hudson Falcons, Fatter than Albert, High School Football Heroes, and Born to Lose. They've just released their debut, self-titled album, and are setting up a tour of Texas/Arkansas/Louisiana for January 2007.
The members of Screams of Triumph are: Kris - Guitar/Vocals, Roy - Drums/Vocals, Kyle - Sax/Keyboard, Richelle - Trombone, Stafford - Bass, and Robert - Guitar
