Details:
I was born the child of an Addict. I knew the proper weights and prices of various narcotics before I knew how to read. I watched my family snort our rent money, smoke our food up, and shoot my childhood innocence away.

If it wasn't for free lunch at school I would've starved. My parents weren't interested in my well being. I was paycheck. Welfare paid my Father cash and food stamps in an effort to assist him in raising me, but like many drug addicts he spent the cash on Drugs and traded the stamps for drugs. Leaving us at many times homeless. I bounced around the country following my father's sickness. Never in one school for longer than a couple of months. We'd move into a place just long enough to get evicted.

Gradually I became fascinated with the streets and all its elements. I chose to choose my choices. I make no excuses for the decisions I made, because I could've found positive people, but Unfortunately, I didn't understand love. I understood one thing...Violence.

So I discovered at an early age a lifestyle that offered me respect and admiration from my peers. A situation that allowed me to belong. I became a Gangsta.

I did all the dirt I needed to do to be respected. I started off with robberies. I became addicted to the power of packing pistols and making other people cower before me. It was intoxicating. Eventually I fell into what was familiar...Drugs

I recognized the potential to make thousands in a week. So I Hustled.

After selling dope I grew bored with being a Gangsta. Money was my Vice.

But eventually my time as a hustla ran out. I ended up getting a prison sentence. The first stretch held me until I was 18, but that didn't bother me. So I paroled and quickly went back into my old craft of robbery so I could get the money to pick up some dope to sell.

Again I was hit with a Prison sentence. A hard head makes for a soft ass. This time I started my time off the same as the first, but as I started doing my time I started to realize I'm only 19 talking about what I used to have.

I began to educate myself. I started reading. I read everything that I could. I began to study the world's religions. From Christianity to Islam, I lived each one of them until I discovered none of them were for me.

I was like a caterpillar. Prison was my cocoon and in that cocoon I began to transform from a gangsta to a Scholar.

About the music of vengeance and the music production.

I know most of you have had some comments about the music production and I wanted to give the fans a little insight concerning the Music on the album Vengeance.
Most of the music on Vengeance may be unorthodox and very different from many hip-hop and rap albums that are currently out on the market. Scholar and I wanted a different feel for the album considering the music that we have heard and we have created in the past. I used no samples and I tried to use natural sounding instrumentations for most of the music. When you listen to Vengeance you will find sounds of Japanese Taiko Drums, choirs, mandolins, pianos, flamingo guitars, distortion guitars, pipe organs, "white noise"(that is the noise that is used to block sounds from conversations to stop ease dropping), various percussions, stand up bass, and Japanese Shamisen and Koto, just to name a few of the instrument sounds.
We also fell under a limitation of the technology that we used for the music production. What we could not play live we had only a Korg N364 to sequence the beats. I did explore cheap loop programs, however they lacked the warm sounds that Korg A1 synthesis provides and without getting too technical, sometimes they lack the expansion of frequency that would be needed for an adequate mastered product.
I hope that the listeners can find that the uniqueness of the music and Scholar's devastating flow accent each other on the Album Vengeance. Listening to only the short samples on the web does not give a complete picture of what the music does sound like at full frequency levels when you have Vengeance at home or in your ride.
