A musician and composer with strong melodies and sense of âsoundscapingâ, Jack Schell creates what may be termed âmusical art piecesâ. Mostly instrumental, Jackâs work is similar in style to that of Moby,Zero 7,Thievery Corporation or Lemongrass.

Jack Schell is a composer, musician and an audio engineer. He is the owner of Merkaba Publishing, Inc. Jackâs compositions as well as his collaborations with famed guitarist Earl Slick (currently lead guitarist for David Bowie) are used in television on sports shows and radio and television advertising. Jack has writing, keyboard and pre-production credits on Earlâs Latest CD Zig Zag which features a whoâs who list of Vocalists including David Bowie, the Cureâs Robert Smith, Joe Elliot from Def Leppard, as well as Martha Davis of the Motels.

Jackâs fourth release Library One (2005) is a traveling metrosexuals delight; these percolating iridescent instrumentals are as at home in London as they are in a Palm Springs lounge. These songs were written with self healing and balancing in mind. âI was trying out some of the new age tools I learned in San Diego and applied them to music,â says Jack.

Some songs invoke the relaxing effects of vast space, while others are a reminder to breathe! From Tahoe Drums, where the ancient native winds blew rhythms carrying energy and knowledge that had flowed there for centuries, to the vast spaces conjured in the title track and Room To Fly (a meditation favorite), this music takes you on a armchair space vacation. Sanctuary is a song for a friend that wanted to be taken âdivingâ when she closed her eyes and listened.

Jack plays a blend of music ranging from acoustic contemporary to new age to jazz, but like the title of his CD his music is truly ageless.
