Straight out of the Bay Area, a young rapper by the name of Scrilla C has been gaining recognition, releasing his first album, A Rap Thang. Much anticipated is this album, coming from this talented artist, who got his first major record deal at the young age of 15, and quickly began recording then. His name generated a buzz in the rap community, where people wanted to hear more from this young mc. Concentrating on his music, the young mc put together 44 hot tracks; but chose 17 of his favorite for his fans on his CD.
The young artist first started selling his album by hand, he quickly sold 400 copies on the street. Once he saw how he easily they were selling, he wanted a larger audience to be able to have access to them, so he put 1000 copies of his CD on shelves in stores around the Bay Area. Here is a little biography on this upcoming star rapper:
Raised in Central California, Gilroy, Scrilla C has had his eyes set on his bright future, ready to gain acceptance from his peers and gain the admiration of his fans; he travels and does shows from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Two years before he gained recognition, he would travel to nightclubs and battle any MC that would challenge him to the mic. Becoming lost in the large diverse rap game, where discrimination was rampant, he quickly found himself lost in the great sea of talent.
After six months of continuous battling and writing raps, a producer by the name of Mark D gave him a chance and handed him a record deal, Nuthouze Productions. This encounter also landed the young talented rapper with his soon to be made well-known name, Scrilla C, which means cash cash. This still was not enough for the young teen, his hunger for the rap game drove him to build a full studio inside his house, called Younglife Productions.
His talent was now becoming noticaeble, two years inside of Nuthouze, he had mastered numerous skills: producing and creating beats that well represented Hip Hop. His first album, A Rap Thang made a big splash in the rap scene in the Bay Area, coming from a young artist who actually had lyrics that conveyed a message, where his lyrics were coming from his heart.
One love is one thang, lots of love is everythang.
