Country music with a flare of rock and roll. Accoustic guitar with electric rythym, electric lead, great bass licks and drums make this a toe tapping enjoyable time for all. You won't be disapointed by any of the tracks on this GREAT cd.

Details:
The story began in 2001 when singer/songwriter Scott Wiggins and drummer John Diaz began playing together in their hometown. As they moved on to college they struggled to find pieces to fit their band. After their freshman year of college, John moved to Corpus Christi, where he and Scott would then have to travel in order to make things work. Finally, in August of 2004, Scott made the move to Corpus Christi as well, a move that would eventually lead to the formation of the Scott Wiggins Band. In the same month, Scott and John met a young guitar player by the name of Ricky Diaz (no relation). After playing with him and liking his style, Scott asked for him to come and play as a three piece band with him and John. Soon following this would be the addition of a bass player. A friend of Ricky Diaz named Ryan Fedako was asked to jam with the band and see what feel he could get. As did Rickyâs, Ryanâs creativity blended beautifully with what Scott and John had been playing for years. This group of four would continue to work on defining their style. In March of 2005 the band saved enough money to record a demo at Cherry Ridge Studios in South Texas. The four song demo led to the band receiving more and more gigs throughout the base of Corpus Christi and in San Antonio. The final piece would come in May of 2005, when lead guitarist Jason Farjardo stepped in a few practices and was quickly asked to stay with the band. These five have blended to create a style that is unique in its own.
Driven by influences from across the musical spectrum the band has derived a style that cannot be put into any particular genre. From Texas Country, to Americana, to Southern Rock, to Classic Rock, to modern Rock, to old Honky-Tonk, this band has something for every ear to enjoy. The bands diverse style on stage comes simply from the diverse ears of the band.
The bandâs first full length album was recorded in Houston, Texas in the fall of 2005. The album consists of ten tracks, all penned by Wiggins. Every musical part was recorded by each member of the band, giving the album a distinct original style. The band spent many hours in the studio crafting and perfecting the sound that you hear.
