Trina Preach, the alter-ego of Patrina S. Reddick, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in her early thirties! She almost believed the reports of the doctors and some of her friends and family that breast cancer was a death sentence, until she remembered something. She remembered that Jesus Christ had already bore her sickness and with his stripes she was already healed. She had to remember that she could claim her healing and then help others to believe in the power of Jesus Christ at the same time.

Memoirs in Pink: A Breast Cancer Journey is a poetry and short-story book celebrating the path walked up to the point of near death. It includes accounts of childhood experiences, good times and bad, and many random stories of both failures and triumphs. The book was initially written as a heirloom to be presented to her children (Pierre, Monet and Shaunesha) if and when breast cancer took over.

Bill Moales, one Trina's dearest friends, made the recommendation that she put some of the poems to music. Trina wasn't sure what he meant by this, but because he promised to help her she took the leap of faith to complete the project made available today. Bill has gone on to be with the Lord now, but he will see to it that those who should benefit from these lovely songs will do so. There is pure power in each one, not only those stricken with breast cancer, but for anyone who is alive, but seeking to live again.

The fund was established when Trina, although employed full-time with insurance that didn't support her during this trying time.

When Trina was going through breast cancer, neither her short-term nor long-term disability claims were accepted. it was a trying time for she and her family, but her faith kept her strong physically. She beat the battle of breast cancer, but lost the financial battle. Her home was foreclosed, her car repossessed, and her life style was literally changed during the 3 year process to get her life back.
