The Christmas Miracle is an recording featuring The No Name Band, originally formed for one purpose only to record The Maggie Rap, a song from the musical of the same name published by Hot Coffee Music. But, that's where the fun began. The band also recorded 17 other songs for the album as individual artists or duets, trios, or quartet. The album is about the musical, a true-to-life story in a Christmas setting. The title says Christmas but all the songs do not have Christmas themes. There is a great balance between songs with fast, medium and slow tempos as well songs that are rock, pop rap, bossa, jazz, pop, country, big band and adult contemporary. The titles are pretty descriptive. But, you can be fooled by "Rockin At The Gate" which is not at somebody's house but Peter singing and rockin at the Gates of Heaven. The Maggie Rap 5:45 is the No Name Band letting Maggie have it "with 6 barrels (6voices) because of her "I know everything and eveyone stuck up attitude" as a singer. But, the rap is actually the band introducing itself as The No Name Band. "My Dad's a Cook," while in the show as a Christmas setting, is about a teenager who sings about his dad being a cook.
