Acoustic/Indie/Modern Rock/Singer Songwriter
7 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, ROCK: Acoustic
Details:
Scott Fickas has been singing and writing songs since the mid - late nineties. Once the creative leading force behind (the now defunct) Silvereign. They played festivals and blazed the club circuit in So. Cal. for the better part of four years. After two CDs, Seven Windows in 1998, and Element of Chance in 2000, Silvereign disbanded in 2001. Now Scott has struck out on his own as a solo artist. Although he has many influences, itâs the sounds of the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, U2, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young, Queen, and Bob Marley that really inspired him. Songs about experiences in love, relationships, honesty, the pursuit of happiness, and simple truths can be heard on his latest work "Reflections". With producer Kenn Michael (Wylde Bunch) at the helm this time around, a frsh new rock sound has emerged that makes this one worth a listen. When we asked Scott about the songs, he replied. âReflections for the most part is about looking back at the place weâve come from. The roots of our beginnings and how it shapes the person we are today.â
