Following his debut release âMy Worldâ producer Jerry Wong (Damn The Diva, Bif Naked, Loverboy), who embraced Scottâs first single âWhat Are We Waiting Forâ was so impressed that he became Scottâs music collaborator. Wong subsequently produced Jacksonâs current full-length album release âDistractionsâ, a back to front ensemble of strong songwriting, tieing together the rootsy sounds of the American Alt country establishment akin to Ryan Adamas and the Jayhawks with the ache of Brit pop favorites like U2 and Coldplay. When asked what he sounds like, Jackson is unashamed to wear his influences on his sleeve and reply âif you put Tom petty and U2 in a studio together, the Scott Jackson sound is what you might end up with!â

Scott is a founding member of the band MK ULTRA who released the album âAPPLEâ that spent numerous weeks at the top of the HMV Independent charts with their single âGotta Get On Itâ that also garnered airplay on subsequent stations in Canada. Scott Jacksonâs live shows are riveting. Headlining showcases at the New Music West Festival and playing opening slots for acts like Nickleback are some of the memorable performances in SCOTT JACKSONâS career.

Since launching his solo project Scott has sold out shows at premier venues such as The Act Theater in Maple Ridge, Canada and the Tsillan Cellars winery Amphitheater in Chelan Washington, USA. His debut release My World garnered rave press reviews from Tom Harrison (The Vancouver Province) and Jason Warburg (The Daily Vault) to name a few. The songs âWhat Are We Waiting Forâ and âWelcome To My Worldâ received subsequent airplay on The Quake FM Radio, KOZI FM Radio, Fearless Radio in Chicago, WDNY in New York, and across Canada following the U.S. release of âMy Worldâ.

Scott Jackson has taken the internet by storm with more than 30,000 fans listening more than 500 times a day on his Myspace.com web page. Internet radio stations from all over the globe are spinning the first two singles Câmon, Câmon and the introspective alternative country track â Precious Thingsâ is receiving rotation on radio stations in St Louis, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and Germany and Denmark. Recently, the catchy high energy single Câmon Câmon was released to radio stations across Canada and is subsequently being added to the regular rotation of many. Among these stations is 107.3 Kool Fm in Victoria, CKRW in Whitehorse, CKDM Dauphin MB, CJTT New Liskeard, ON, and Mix 100 in Yellowknife to name a few. The single is paired with a full-production Video Release which awaits play on the major video stations in Canada.
