'Scarab' is the current incarnation of a college band started by main vocalist and lyricist Gaina - aka 'The Divine Miss G' - in 1996. All songs were recorded between Autumn '95 and Summer '96 at Whitehouse Studios, Somerset.

Band members have come and gone but Gaina's commitment to the project remains unshakeable, and her work has been received warmly by other bands such as Panic Cell and Lupara.

Gaina has spent the last 12 months writing lyrics for a full-length CD and is currently seeking other musicians in order to complete Scarab's line-up and press ahead with the new CD.

With musical influences ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Slipknot, Scarab is and eclect creation that you can love, loathe but NEVER ignore.
