Details:
Yer Dead is the newest Black Brians album. A stylistic departure from the first two that began with the idea of us doing a "metal" album. This eventually became an album with the noisiest, most abrasive production ever put to tape. Most of the songs are performed on The Peacemaker and The Devil's Dulcimer, two home-built electric string instruments that we rigged up. This album features much more intricate drum machine programming than the first two albums, and vocals that are less processed. The lows, mids, and highs on everything are in the red making this the loudest album in my cd collection.
That said, this is the best batch of songs we've come up with. We kept it lean with just 10 tunes, but they're all totally fleshed out and memorable. Easily our best work yet, we're both really really proud of it. Buy it now and get on the Black Brians Bandwagon before the sure-to-come hype and ensuing backlash taint our music forever.
