Once upon a time, I spent a year living out in the boondocks on the outskirts of a pretty little place called Miccosukee, FL. There's not much to the town. But you'll see some of the most beautiful Live Oak trees adorned with Spanish Moss sharing the landscape with majestic stands of Southern Pines. There is something mighty special about this area that is nestled inbetween North Florida and South Georgia. I was touring a lot in those days and the constant travel, day and night, could be grueling. I kept my sanity by keeping Miccosukee in my mind. Hence the song.
