We got together in mandolin player and songwriter Scott's cabin for three or four days and laid down these eleven tracks of original music in start-to-finish style "live" takes, often giving something as many as eight tries before accepting it, or as little as one or two. Therefore this album is the real deal, this is how we sound, when we're hanging out with beers and whiskey at home. We put a mic in front of everyone and pressed record. Dave did some "mastering " if you want to call it that, because as we say at the very end of the album "it could be better" but it sounds pretty good anyway.
