When six artists coming from different musical backgrounds shared their goals and put together a band, the music lab opened. Blend together smooth groves with an edgy yet mellow feel. Take a little Reggae. Throw in some Rock. Then add a little bit of Hip Hop and some R&B vocals and lyrics and what do you get? Hang 11--one of Hawaii's premiere up and coming groups.

In 2000, a trio of friends started a little project that would evolve into what is heard today. Picking up a few new faces along the way, they decided to get the ball rolling and give the local scene a side of music that's packed full of a high-energy mix of beats and lyrical entertainment that'll keep the fans coming back for more.

Hang 11 has opened for bands such as Tarrus Riley, The Green, Kapena, Natural Vibrations, Rebel Souljahs, C&K, and many others. They are ready to be a dominant force in Hawaii's ever-changing music scene. No stranger to live music, each member has performed with many great artists in the past before finding their home here. Hang 11's freshman project contains all original music in a style that is somewhat familiar to the islands while leading to a more international sound. This hit-filled album is full of songs featuring some of Hawaii's top musicians and vocalists.

Lead vocalists, Kelandy (Diaz) and Jonah (Sakaria), bring together individual styles and harmonies that compliment each other in a way that is rare and difficult to duplicate. On lead guitar, Kaipo (Odom) uses a traditional Hawaiian and Classic Rock background to add tasty fills and solos that bring the songs to life. With Jarvin (Tarkong) on keys, an Island/R&B feel keeps the rhythm so smooth that your feet can't help but tap to the beat. Bassist George ( Garcia) adds Alternative Dub bass lines coupled with the heavy Rock drumming of Reno (Guerrero) to complete their unique sound.
