An accompanying CD, Integrative Strategies for Cancer Patients: A companion guide of visual imageries, provides an audio guide to the visual imageries described within the Integrative Strategies for Cancer Patients which is geared for adults and children with cancer and their caregivers and provides âhands onâ instruction for managing the side effects associated with cancer therapy. All together, 21 side effects that are encountered by patients with cancer, including nausea/vomiting, lymphedema, pain, loss of appetite, chemo brain, anxiety/stress are covered from an integrative approach. The recommendations for an indicated side effect vary slightly by chapter and are based on research and our clinical practice.
