Details:
With Pacific Coastin', we, the Legendary Icons, wanted to create a project that was short and ground-breaking for our fans and for fans of West Coast music and Hip Hop in general. As Southern California residents, we dedicated our album to all those fans of hard-knocking drums and kicks, funky synthesizers, hypnotizing keys, and flat out West Coast anthem material. We were fortunate and blessed to have super talented Hip Hop/R&B West Coast producer Jazztone as a major part of the project. He laid the untouchable foundation of this EP and allowed us to lyrically explain our reflections and reactions to events that have been a part of our lives growing up in the Pacific Coast, more specifically, Southern California. One could expect to listen to topics that touch on violence, pain, change, inspiration, personal perseverance, friendship, celebration, & pride (just to name a few). The last track on the album is paying homage to one of the most iconic West Coast songs off of Dr. Dre's "The Chronic 2001."
