With Daggers Drawn is made up of Max Illidge (vocals, ex-40 Below Summer), Joey D'Amico (guitar, ex-40 Below Summer), Tommy Costello (lead guitar), Ed Schiro (bass), and Greg Telfeian (drums).

The 12-track debut album, "Heart of the Universe" was written, produced, and recorded by the band themselves. Vocalist, Max Illidge, engineered the album at their Union City, NJ studio, Illegitimate Productions. Editing was done by Micah Havertape, Tommy Costello, and Ed Schiro. Mastering was done by Alan Silverman at Arf! Digital.

Based out of Union City, New Jersey, this 5-piece blends metal, rock, and prog seamlessly. The main mastermind behind the music is lead guitarist, Tommy Costello. The main mastermind behind the vocals and lyrics is Max Illidge. With a lot of input and creativity from Joey D'Amico, Ed Schiro, and Greg Telfeian, together they craft technical, heavy and beautiful songs into great song structures for a very wide audience. Max Illidge's catchy and melodic vocal hooks and lyrics are the main ingredient for grabbing the listener in and never letting go. He sings beautifully and gets aggressive when the music calls for it.

Formed in November in 2009, the legend of WDD has only just begun.
