The Long and Short of It was spawned from the nitty gritty streets of middle class San Diego. While toiling in different projects with moderate success, Brian Barrabee(Battling Maxo and The Good Old Fashioned Future); Ben Johnson(Tourettes Lautrec, Hostile Comb-Over, and The Owsla); Big Baby; aka:Tim Johnson(Corrugated, The Owsla and the notorious cover boy on the first Rocket From The Crypt record,'Paint As A Fragrance'; and Matt Strachota(Bartenders Bible and Women) got together to form a musical powerhouse in the fall of 2003.
The Long and Short of It Vs. Mothra is the first release from these boys, and its raw intensity is certainly an apt prelude to their 13 song full-length set for release sometime in the fall of 2006.
Be on the look out for this up and coming, hard rock dynamo. Watch for them to storm through a town near you very soon.
