Since the production of this 911 music - Iris & Tlee have become victims of a potentially deadly toxic injury. They lost their home and most of their worldly possessions. All they have left is their music and a few things that are in storage. They really need your love, support and prayers to endure this unforseen tragedy and keep hope. These original songs came straight from the pages of these all-American hearts. September 11th, 2001 changed this world forever. Each song expresses emotions we felt at the time it was written. We feel most of America and much of the world shared or experienced these same thoughts. We started, many times, to just lay the songs aside. But with each day that passes, we truly understand, the real impact 911 had on this country.

IT MUST NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! In many cases, the ultimate price was paid. In other cases, families were left behind with but a memory of those they loved. So many more lives have been lost since 911. With each rising sun, all we can do is pray. For we know not what the future holds - ONLY who holds the future. May God bless America!

Tlee Brooks did the vocals, production and music. You'll probably hear the deep sense of emotion in each song. "This was a very hard project for us to complete. It was not just another lyric and music. This was very REAL as, day by day, it unfolded. We shared what we felt deeply in our our hearts. We're glad we were, somehow, able to capture the everchanging feelings and actual historical events of one of America's greatest tragedies. We are just so sorry it took place". (As Tlee, himself, faces the days to come each day gets harder. To share these songs and know they reached someone means so much).

Most of these profound lyrics were written by Iris Harden from a hospital bed, beginning that very day. She shared the initial shock in "Terror Of New York". This song tells what she heard and saw;The cries-the screams-fiery flames- gaping holes- a scene none of us will ever escape for as long as we live. It has spoken text,singing, and an actual clip of first 911 speech. "Most of our songs are not this long, but to express what was felt that day, it needed everything you hear".

Time created a flood of emotions; Anger - Tears - Strength-Pride. We thank Jerry Walker for his song - "Messin' With the USA". We also wrote a few tribute songs. Very close to our hearts is "LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND" which honors our Special Forces killed in Afghanistan.They truly upheld the Warrior's code as they returned to the battlefield, in the line of fire, to rescue the wounded. We were very honored to hand deliver a copy to the Mother of the late Bradley Crose, a real HERO! She has every right to be proud.

"American Businessman" shares the true story of Howard Lutnick. He showed great strength, not only as a solid businessman, but as a man of great compassion. Mr. Lutnick reached out to many familes, at a time when his own world had just crumbled to the ground.

"American Pride" is a song we wish our troops could hear. They need our support, encouragement and to know we honor each of them with American Pride. The lyrics are listed below. Please share it with someone who needs a positive message. No matter how we feel about the world situation - Support Our Troops! We wrote these songs for our troops, families and for America. We love each of you.

"Mourning the Morning" truly mourns that horrible morning when America cried and the innocent died. Those blue skies and sunshine all turned to rain..We shall never forget the pain of that dreadful day.

"Osama Bin Laden" is a song of initial anger..stating that he will die.. for our families still cry..He made people think they'd reap their reward.. for doing such evil..that a heavenly chord.. would bring them sweet music from angels above..but God does not murder.. for God is of LOVE. How could he kill innocent victims in the name of ANY God?

"The Front Line" was written to Pres. Bush in the beginning months after 911. It was also written Waylon style & to honor his memory as a great country artist and the great state of Texas. Iris recalls speaking with Waylon on the phone during a visit to Texas a few years ago.

Iris Harden, relates to firefighters who were harmed during 911 from Toxins in the air. She took the brunt of above T2 toxic injury causing burns, multiple organ damage and immune dysfunction/chronic pain. With trichothecene poisoning (more commonly called Yellow Rain which killed over 6000 in Laos)it is a miracle that she's alive.

Despite that, to share is still her passion. She tries to keep a positive attitude and let the sunshine overcome the rain, by keeping her focus on her songwriting abilities and the very blessing of life. Tho' Iris filed a personal injury claim with Grange Insurance in Jan. 2006 and even tried to speak with their CEO- Phil Urban; Grange has done nothing to help her and Tlee survive this tragedy and start their lives all over. Only the grace of God and their music has kept hope alive. May those responsible do what is right.

Still they made a pledge to help others with this album. Thus, they will still donate the pledged amount to the charities below:

The Armed Forces Veterans Homes Foundation provides long term,quality health care to America's infirm and elderly Veterans. Those who defended our freedom need us now!
There are close to 150 "Homes of the Brave" across the
USA. I've talked to the directors and visited the local Home. They really give our Vets the dignity the deserve.

The Salvation Army is the largest army in the world.They march forward in God's name, meeting human needs to all, without discrimination. To give HELP is to give HOPE!

Iris & Tlee wish to donate $1.00 to EACH of the above worthy Charities for EACH CD sold. Our hope is to help
with many donations, but also to have our songs really mean something to America and many of you..

Please Honor the Fallen and Support The Living as you play our 911 tribute CD. Many of the songs bring back memories. But don't just play the Cd on Sept. 11th, rather play it in their honor ..as often as you can. There WAS and STILL ARE many HEROES of 911. Original songs for the families & songs for our soldiers are deeply felt within our hearts. These patriotic songs share our genuine love for America.

Tlee & Iris have been working as a team for about 5 years now, having written and produced many songs. They do a lot of original material. They met when Iris was at Mayo Clinic during 2000 election chaos- they co-wrote a novelty song "Who Is Our President" which was played on Fox International News. They became good friends through a mutual love for music!

Tlee is a self taught musician, having played guitar,bass, and keyboards all over the US for over 25 years. He's worked with some well know artists and some very talented unknowns.

Tlee opened at Capitol Center for Merle Haggard with a local North Va. band. He toured with the late Big Al Downing. It was an honor to meet him and perform on the same stage. Tlee met Mel Tillis, Freddie Fender and many others.

Tlee also picked and played with Billy Jo Shaver (CMA Songwriter Hall of Fame) from Nashville to NY..He even lived in His basement for about 3 months during some down time in Nashville. Tlee backed up Jeannie C Riley,Bobby Goldsboro,Del Shannon, Carl Perkins to name a few over the years.

He was awarded Musician of The Year 1994 by ASE -Atlanta Society of Entertainers. He's played everything from bluegrass to country,blues,jazz,gospel..pretty much everything but classical music.

Iris began playing piano-organ in her church when she was 12 years old and she held that same postion for a long time. She always had a prolific side and is constantly writing and creating lyrics & songs.It can be from real life situations, such as 911 or just for the sake of or challenge to create a great lyric -no matter the idea behind it. Songwriting is just a passion of her soul.

Over the years she's won awards for her overall abilty as a songwriter..Nashville ICMA Award 2001, King Eagle Award
Overall Talent 2000, Hollywood Jubilee TV Award, Sacred Circle Award Winning lyric for Child Abuse to name a few.

Iris received a very nice letter of appreciation from the Mayor of New York City..as a thank you for "Terror Of New York".

Iris has a great compassion for others-has done Missionary work in Mexico and the USA. She loves to work and write for special needs and causes, in addition to her other writing. She attributes her strength and any talent to God.
