Details:
TOMMY PELTIER, musician, composer, cornet player and innovator has reinvented himself several times over during the pass four decades and is still discovering new horizons.

During the '60s, cornetist Peltier put together an avant-garde group The Jazz Corps. They often played and recorded at the Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach, CA. In 1966, jazz giant Rashaan Roland Kirk joined the band to recorded an album for Pacific Jazz.

Through the '70s, Tommyânow singer, songwriter, guitar and keyboard playerâhooked up with close friend Judee Sill and put together a number of folk-rock bands. A CD and video from that period was released for the first time Sept., 2005, entitled, Tommy Peltier featuring Judee Sill - Chariot of Astral Light.

The early '80s found Peltier working his rocking group Jump City Band and later '80s his New Orleans-flavored band Bayou Goula. The group performed at many of L.A.'s hipper night spots like Madame Wongs, Sasch and At My Place.

The '90s brought Peltier's avant-garde pop performance group, Plastic Theatre Art Band to the clubs and concert halls around Southern California. The group performed with prominent dancers and companies such as The Rudy Perez Performance Ensemble and The Los Angeles Modern Dance and Ballet.

In 1999, the CD Frogs Breath Saloon was released. Once again longtime friend Grammy nominated producer Jay Donnellan proved to be the perfect match for Tommy's music.

Tommy went in another direction in 2001 with his new composition Bug Ballet Suite. This recording along with bands from the '80s and his '90s all-electronic group Plastic Theatre Art Band, can be found on the compilation CD entitled March of the Nematodes.

The year 2005 finds Tommy Peltier singing, playing guitar synthesizer with his new group The Chariots, recording and performing around the L.A. area.
