Description:

Refreshingly different. This is an album that maintains a modern rock sensibility, but incorporates intriguing off-timings, raw, striking musicianship, and a deep poetical discourse on human antics and perceptions. You'll love the whole album.

Details:
I am a songwriter, musician, aged 26, based out of Wardensville, WV. I generally consider myself a guitarist, but I play several different instruments. Realistically, I just consider myself a musician (and a philosopher if you'll grant me the permission.) I was raised around a host of musicians, and have always been very musical, but I began playing guitar at the age of 19. Since then, I have picked up the banjo, mandolin, harmonica, bass, and drums, but a lot of people will tell you I can play anything you give me.

I have recorded several albums, but my one true release is "Unnatural," a generally modern/hard rock album that I released on my label Poison Springs Records. The others I consider now more to be "demo albums" that I will likely pick and choose from in the future to create new releases. Anyway, a large portion of the art of my stuff comes from my lack of help--I have to do it all: instrumentation, composing, arranging, etc. It is a lot of work, and can sometimes detract from my vision, but it usually brings me great pride.

Musically and artistically I have a single goal, and that is to push everything I can to every limit that I can. I can't be loyal to a specific genre, because I am too enraptured by at least some aspect of them all. "Unnatural" brought out the best of my rocking side, but there is so much great stuff to come that is nothing like rock. As long as I am expressing the ideas that frustrate me and bursting forth my musical energies, I will continue making what I make with the hope that someone else will get out of it what I do, or perhaps more.
