Take the vibe and attitude of old school rock, fuse it with a modern edge, get some serious playing, mix it with real songs and youd be getting close to what The Thieves sound like.
Ridiculously rocking and catchy... expect big things. GIANT
"Verdict:
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Classic Rock, ROCK: 70's Rock
Details:
We recorded 'Tales from the White Line' at Royal Tone Studios (Audioslave, No Doubt, Courtney Love...) in Burbank, CA. We got Chris Brown back on the desk for production duties and went in with a load of songs we'd written whilst living in LA. We got more into production on this record than the last, with synths, keys, percussion, theramins and as much crazy experimentation as our minds could come up with. Was a really fun record to make up until Hal broke his ankle. He had to fly back to England and have his ankle screwed back together again. So he had to do all his vocals sitting down and was in a huge amount of pain. In the end though the record came together really well and ended up sounding really massive. It's definitely driving music, so get in your car and turn it up loud!
