I'm lucky enough to live near the coast of Maine near Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island and also near equally as beautiful, but far less traveled Deer Isle.I have known these places since I was a child and have many fond memories of those times. Now I spend as much time as possible on these Islands with my family, hiking at Acadia and boating/exploring off Deer Isle to the many and varied small and large islands in Jericho Bay.{the photographs on this album are from this area}
Most of the songs on this album were inspired by my experiences interacting with this incredibly beautiful environment. A couple are related to my desire for world Peace and my environmental concerns. And one special song, Holly's Song, is for my daughter Holly, written a few years back when she was 7.
I feel fortunate to have Paul Sullivan playing piano on many of the album tracks. He is an incredibly talented musician and adds so much to my songs.
