Surrounded by the elements of gospel music, Rodney Archie has been singing since the age of seven. The youngest of twelve children, he performed his first solo concert at the age of fifteen accompanied by his family members in Winston Salem, NC. His creative vocalization of musical styles is varied, ranging from musical theatre to jazz, classical to contemporary, allowing him to take the stage with some of the great professional vocalist of our time. Tremaine Hawkins, John Kee, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Shirley Ceasar, Alfreda Gerald, Anointed, and the Boys Choir of Harlem.

Known for his expansive vocal range and passionate delivery, Rodney joined Queen Esther Marrow and the Harlem Gospel Singers for the 2003-2004 and the 2004-2005 European tour. Also in 2004 he appeared in the world premiere of the theatrical production, "In God We Trust", portraying the lead character of Dawson and toured with a local production honoring the fortieth anniversary of the "I Have A Dream" speech of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Rodney also appeared in the musical production of One Voice a celebration of gospel music in Lancaster Pennsylvania in 2005. Rodney also performed at the world famous historical Apollo theater in New York city.

Rodney has served as choir director, guest psalmist, and worship leader of several ministries, conferences, and national convocations throughout the nation. He is also featured on the debut project of North Carolinaâs own, SOUL OUT, an ensemble of twelve vocalist. SOUL OUT performed his original composition "At All Times" on Bobby Jones Gospel show on BET in 2002. In addition, Rodney appeared as a new artist at the Gospel Music workshop of America in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2000.

Among his many awards, he is the recipient of the 1997 and 2000 male vocalist of the year, sponsored by Waljo Gospel Music production which nominates artist within North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. Rodney also gives back to his community through time and talent participating with non-profit organizations such as The National Black Theatre Festival, The Special Olympics, and the Down Syndrome annual Walk, and local school events.

Corey Rutherford Bio:

Corey Rutherford better known as (Haze) was born in Winston Salem, NC in late september of 1980. He began his musical career in church at the age of eight, where he played drums and sang. His first step outside of the realms of gospel music was in 1995 as a lead vocalist for the male group Adagio.
Haze would continue his quest in the R&B realm in the years to come. His voice could accompany any rap lyric with soulful hooks, different part harmony, and a melody like you would not believe. In 1998 he worked with three with three other upcoming artist in Winston-Salem (Tre-4) called Ill Inc. In 2004 he made North Carolina music history as a member of the Crime Family. The groups first single "Carolina's My Home", was the first independent record from North Carolina to get over 2,500 spins. It was number one for nine consecutive weeks and the song continued to play on BDS radio stations all over North and South Carolina for the next 14 months. During this time Haze performed at numerous concerts and colleges with over 20,000 people in attendance.
Today, Haze continues to compose and perform beautiful music. In 2005 he sang the hook to the "Glamorous Life", which featured Amil (former artist with Rocafella Records) and Lucy Diamonds. The song was number one on MTV Australia for four weeks and it was the inspiration for the Black Eye Pea's hit song of 2006 "My Humps". He is currently working on his double-disc solo debut album entitled "My Heart My Hood," which will be released independently.
Artist that influenced Haze are Donnie Hathaway, Sam Cook, H-Town, and Michael Jackson, just to name a few. Haze's voice is a refreshing mix of R&B with a hip-hop flavor. His music can take you to church, touch your heart, and take you to the street.

David Lee Thompson.

Born in Winston Salem N.C. November 12, 1975 to a Female Minister, Lue Ann Tucker and a Vietnam Veteran Arnold Ezel Thompson. Growing up in a Christian Home Gospel music was a constant. At the age of 3 my mother brought me a small keyboard which could only play one note at a time. One note at a time I began learning melodies to simple songs on the radio and in the air of our home and church. Growing up I did not have the money to pay for formal lessons;however, by going to church I met many musicians who if asked would not tell the secrets to their trade. I learned to be quiet and watch. I started singing on the youth choir of Tabernacle of Faith, with Cassandra McCloud, the daughter of Alonzo McCloud, as the Director. I learned a lot there, most of all I learned that singing was not my best quality, so I decided to learn to play instruments. The piano was out of tune in this church so after church I would ease my way onto the organ. Being so young every sunday I was told children are not aloud to touch the organ. Eventually I was given the opportunity to play for Freedom Baptist church on Sunday morning for a whole $25.00. I was around 10 years old. My family continued to attend Tabernacle of Faith. Soon after I met a man named Chris Brenson who moved to Winston Salem From New York. He taught me a few basics on the keyboard that I still use today. He allowed me to help his choir and church. Most of all he incouraged me to believe in myself as a musician. During this time I also was given the opportunity to travel with the Raymond Oneil Community Choir. I began buying books to teach myself what others would hesitate to teach. Most of my friends joined the band in their school while I joined the orchestra. My teacher was Ms. Rheder and later her mother Ms. Raper of the Winston Salem/Greensboro... Symphony Orchestra. From 6th to 12th grade she was a light in a dark tunnel. I never would take the time to learn every note of the music given to me. After learning a quarter of the music I would begin turning Mozart's song into my own song. She would smile as if she understood my creativity. Now, creativity did not help me to make straight A's. I played with many churches such as Pnuema Pentecostal (Faye Duncan Thomas - Shirley Ceasars Cousin...) in Thomasville, Massadonia T.V.P.H., Bishop Johnson, New Direction Movement Cathedral... bla bla bla. I studied jazz with Fred Prevetta of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Keith Byrd, and Demon Carmona also of the North Carolina School of the Arts to help me play Gospel.
I am the writer of King David's Mental Wealth, a product of Widows Son Publishing, King David Enterprises. I am currently working on a new cd project. Some of my favorite performances: Atkins High School class of 1955 50th year class reunion, opening for Kirby Walker of Hezikiah Walker as a child in the Ritz Movie Theater in Winston Salem, "House of Blues", and the Street Scene in the Swamp Fox of South Carolina.
