Thrill Machine is an Atlanta-based rock trio that has performed throughout metro-Atlanta and in numerous other cities since late 1997. While Thrill Machine has predominantly performed as a cover/party band, they have mixed in some original music into their shows. The originals have been extremely well-received, and the fans have encouraged the band to do an all original CD. So, now we have the long-awaited self-release CD from Thrill Machine, entitled EVOKE!! Thrill Machine packs a punch with this project, the same way they pack a punch during their live performances! Each of the 3 band members is an accomplished instrumentalist and vocalist, and the resulting collective versatility is amazing! The guitar, bass, drums, and vocals come together to create a surprisingly big and full sound. One of the most common statements Thrill Machine hears from their audience is "I can't believe there are only 3 people up there!!". And the overall energy the band emits from the stage is consistently electric and contagious! I recommend catching a live Thrill Machine show whenever you get the chance. And I definitely recommend purchasing a copy of the new CD, EVOKE!! It rocks!!!
From the band, about the CD: EVOKE
When we decided to embark on creating this collection of original material, we knew going into the project that we would be drawing our inspiration from a legacy of unforgettable rock and pop music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. As we approached this project, we 'evoked' the spirits of various great artists....icons and legends to whom we wanted to pay homage. Our goal was to combine our own musical compositions with stylistic elements of artists who have been incredibly influential and important to our collective creative development. We believe the ultimate result produced, EVOKE, is a fresh and synergetic blend of old and new. Happy listening!!!
