Description:
(ID 1541493)
in partnership with CDbaby
Beautiful, poetic, guitar indie-pop, from members of Ex-Mad Planets and My Favorite.
10 MP3 Songs
POP: Bubblegum Pop, ROCK: Modern Rock
Details:
The Reverse is more of an idea than a reality. It's the wound that healed over heartbreak, still with a slight tear, never quite concealed. It's the beginning of regret and the speed to escape it. It's the dark shadow that a lost adolescence casts over adulthood. It's a hundred sounds in my head distilled through guitar, drums and voice. Its the depository for songs that I write that have no band to play them, no world to rule, no lips to mouth them in the crowd, but ache for all of these things. It's the urban part of myself, the grid within, the striving for and against artifice.
The Reverse are Tara Emelye (ex-Mad Planets) and Todbot (My Favorite). Hailing from New York, The Reverse make achingly beautiful pop/rock/whatever you wanna call it. Their new CD is available now!
