Details:
Terrence Walker is a gifted musician/singer/songwriter. His talent developed as a defense against the harsh reality of his life: growing up in the streets surrounded by violence, sex and drugs. Music allowed him to survive in this world without becoming consumed by it.
Terrence's music was influenced by church as a child. as a teenager, he joined a local band, the Flex Band, with Larry Springfield, Kevin Dotson, Kevin and Calvin Shotwell, and Larry Harris. Other musical influences include Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Willie Hutch, Al Green, Bill Withers, luther Vandross, and Stevie Wonder.
Terrence knew that music was his life, so he chose to open his own studio, and began writing and producing songs for other artists. His credits to the music industry include co-producer/engineering consultant on James Hyter's "Old Man River" CD, and Yo Gotti's "Self Explanatory" CD. He also wrote and produced tracks for Duane Scott's "New Luv" CD. He hoped that this would satisfy his desire to make music, but after years of fulfilling the dreams of others, he realized that he had "COME TOO FAR". Thus his debut CD was born, a reflection of his reality; his life.
This is the beginning; as his life evolves he will continue to share it with the world.

"Come Too Far" is a reflection of the realities of life. It deals with life, love, and survival in the real world. It is a snapshot of the artist's life.
The music is rhythm and blues, with definite hip hop influences. The vocals are soulful;gripping, yet energizing.
While the CD tends to be dark, its lessons give hope. There is a message here: Though we live in a "Cold, Cold City", there is love, and we can survive.
